Umakant Kanade’s artwork can be called a study in pure intricacy and a variety of shading techiques. While the colourful birds might be considered the centerpiece of the artwork, the considerable amount of detailing that can be found in the surrounding flora is what draws one’s attention. His artwork creates a host of leaves, bark, roots and vines, each with its unique pattern and lighting. Fading produces a three dimensional effect, further adding to the realism in each painting.
