RISHI BARUA

Education – B.Fine (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in 1985 from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati, M.Fine (Master of Fine Arts) in 1987 from the same institution.

Awards – ‘Best Sculpture’ of the year award at Kala Bhavan Annual Exhibition, 1987; Governor’s Gold Medal for the best exhibit at Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata,1986;  Best Book Cover design awarded at International Book Fair at New Delhi, 2001; 2nd Prize in a Poster Competition on ‘Political Extremism’ by Max Mueller Bhavan, 2003.

At present he is a faculty at Kala Bhavana, Viswa Bharati University.
