Education — Graduated from the Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata.

Deepak Mukherjee’s artwork depicts its subjects with almost photo realistic accuracy, rendering a number of lifelike  textures  and shadows. Colours, when present, are solid and bright, with the more vivid hues emphasizing the subject.  The realism also holds touches of abstract or surrealness, usually in the placement of the components of the  artwork.  

The artist lives and works in Bangalore.
